Adulttoymegastore Product displayed in Wellington Art Exhibition

Artist Lisa Martin has created an exhibit at 70 Ghuznee Street in Wellington Central highlighting the ubiquity of sex toys in the cultural consciousness now.

The work comes to us from The See Here, a collective of Wellington artists who rotate their exhibits within the space, producing work that is experimental and explorative in nature.

The window display shows a comfortable scenario with books, a cup of tea and a blanket with an Adulttoymegastore dildo featured prominently on the side table.

Artist, Martin wanted to explore what role emotion plays in a hook-up culture where women still struggle to ask for what they want. The exhibit will be available to view for the month of August should you wish to check it out.
